September 2025 release
IAM e-mail notifications
Starting from 13 September 2025, you will receive automatic e-mail notifications regarding security-related actions related to your e-banking access. These messages are intended to further enhance your digital security.
The notifications will be sent to the e-mail address registered in e-banking (under "Profile > Manage contact details").
Important: if no e-mail address has been registered, there will be no notifications until an address has been entered manually (by you or by your client adviser).
The following events trigger a notification:
- Changing your e-mail address (Note: the notification will be sent to the e-mail address registered directly in e-banking – not to the address specified in any e-mail agreement.)
- Adding a new device for two-factor authentication (applies only to new registrations via the LLB Banking App)
- Deleting an existing device for two-factor authentication (only affects registrations in the LLB Banking App)
- Changing your e-banking password
- Blocking of your e-banking access
Please check your e-mail address under "Profile > Manage contact details" and update it if necessary. This is the only way to ensure that you are informed immediately about security-relevant events.
LLB will never ask you to log in or provide your login details via phone calls, e-mail or SMS. We do not send e-mails with links to login pages such as e-banking, and we never ask you for your e-banking contract number or PIN.
New logic in selecting the settlement account for stock exchange orders
The selection of the settlement account for stock exchange orders in e-banking has been adjusted based on the feedback received from clients
- Any preferred account defined in your custody account in e-banking will continue to be used as the default settlement account.
- If no preferred account is set, the default account stored in Avaloq will now be used.
- Of course, you can still manually select a different account at any time.
This new logic applies to all stock market transactions (purchase, sale, individual and collective orders) and to all business areas.
Expanded card self-service in e-banking
- Display of sensitive card data
You can now view your full card number and CVV code in online and mobile banking ("Card management > Details"). Before this information is displayed, an additional password prompt appears for identification purposes – this is for your security. - Simplified ordering process for cards
The process for ordering new cards or replacement cards has been simplified and automated, and is initiated immediately when you order a Visa debit card. Your new card will appear in your online and mobile banking after a short time and can be used immediately for online purchases. Additionally, you can integrate the card directly into your mobile payment wallets – such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay.
Start self-onboarding directly in the app
From now on, the entire onboarding process can be carried out directly in the app – quickly, conveniently and without media discontinuity.
When the app is first opened after the installation, a new button appears: "Become a client". There you can choose whether you would like to become a client of LLB Schweiz (CH) or LLB Liechtenstein (FL).
This innovation offers several advantages:
- Save time and register independently.
- The user interface is clear and simple.
Embedded link to the page "Security in e-banking"
In online and mobile banking, a direct link to the page "Security in e-banking" has been integrated. You can now find this link under "Contact and Help". From there, you will be redirected to the corresponding LLB information page.
This page provides you with valuable information on how to use your e-banking securely – for example, by using strong passwords, current software and protecting against phishing. LLB is actively committed to ensuring that your digital banking transactions are optimally protected.
We recommend that you regularly read the security information and adjust your devices and passwords accordingly. This way, you contribute to protecting your data and your assets.
QR-bill: the country code "FL" is now recognised as Liechtenstein
In the case of QR-bills, it is necessary to specify the country in the recipient address as a two-digit ISO code. So far, only the code "LI" has been registered for the Principality of Liechtenstein. Now, the country code "FL" can also be used. This means that in cases where the country code "FL" is stored, the country will now be automatically recognised during scanning, and you no longer need to enter it manually.
This improvement has been implemented in all relevant areas of the e-banking system:
online banking, mobile banking, scanner and document upload.
Design adjustments
Various design optimisations have been implemented so that you can benefit from a clear, modern and user-friendly interface.
