Participations
Nobody can overcome the global challenges alone, and active collaboration with other companies is more important than ever. That’s why we have joined leading international initiatives, where we can work together on necessary and innovative solutions.
The Climate Pledge
The Climate Pledge is a cross-sector community of companies and organisations working together to crack the climate crisis and solve the challenges of decarbonising our economy. Bringing together those that are prepared to run the furthest and fastest, The Climate Pledge calls on signatories to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 – some 10 years ahead of the Paris Agreement. By being a member of this exclusive circle, LLB Group wants to underline its ambitions.
UN Principles for Responsible Investments (PRI)
The LLB has been a member of Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) since 2020. This global investor initiative supported by the United Nations advocates an integral consideration of the impact of investment activities on environmental, social and corporate governance issues. The signatories undertake to report annually on the implementation of the principles and to take account of the six principles for responsible investment.

UNEP Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB)
The LLB has signed the United Nations Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB). PRB is an international initiative for responsible banking, providing a uniform framework for a more sustainable banking sector. With the principles, banks are taking steps to align their core strategy, decision-making, lending and investing with the UN Sustainable Development Goals or the Paris Climate Agreement.
Net-Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA)
LLB Group has been a member of the United Nations Net-Zero Banking Alliance (NZBA) since August 2021. The aim of the initiative is to eliminate the most carbon-intensive sectors from loan and investment portfolios. “With our voluntary net-zero commitment, we are underscoring our determination to contribute to the transformation of the global economy,” says Group CEO Gabriel Brenna.
Race To Zero
Being a member of the Net-Zero Banking Alliance also makes the LLB Group part of the Race To Zero – an initiative launched by the United Nations, which recognises the importance of a decarbonised economy and the need to work towards this in order to create a healthier, safer, cleaner and more resilient world for future generations.
UN Global Compact
The vision of the UN Global Compact is to mobilise a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to create the world they want. To make this happen, companies need to do business responsibly by aligning their strategies and operations with ten principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption and by taking strategic actions to advance broader societal goals for sustainable development.
