Account transfer service for consumers under the Payment Accounts Act (ZKG)

Account transfer service allows you to transfer your old account quickly and easily to the Liechtensteinische Landesbank. Your payment partners – such as your employer, your mobile phone provider, and your insurance company – will be informed of your new bank details if you wish.

Under the ZKG, banks in the EEA are obliged to provide account transfer service support services to a consumer who opens or holds a payment account. These support services include the performance of account transfer service within Liechtenstein and the facilitation of cross-border account opening within the EEA. To make use of account transfer service, both accounts must be held in the same currency and the account holders must be identical.
