March 2024 release
Removal of payment templates
In preparation for an upcoming release, payment templates will be removed from our E-Banking. These changes affect both our Online Banking and our Mobile Banking.
In particular, the following alterations have been made:
- Saved templates that were previously displayed as known beneficiaries during payment processing will no longer appear in your beneficiary-database.
- The menu item "My Templates" will be completely removed.
- The option "Save as Template" will be removed from payment processing.
Previously executed payment orders to beneficiaries originating from templates can be duplicated at any time within "My Payments." After these payment orders are approved, they will reappear in your beneficiary-database and will be suggested again in future payment orders.
Authorization Management in our Online Banking
We are pleased to inform you that in our Online Banking, there is now the option to delete authorizations for your own business relationship and to edit or remove any E-Banking access.
Authorization management is accessible under "My Profile" > "Manage Authorizations and E-Banking Access" within the user management of our LLB Online Banking.
Under "My Authorized Persons", you can adjust or delete the E-Banking permissions of users who have access to your business relationships. Additionally, there is the option to completely remove the entire authorization of an authorized person.
This functionality is currently available if your customer relationship meets one of the following criteria:
- Natural person with an individual relationship
- Organ of a legal entity with individual signing authority
If your user is currently excluded from authorization management, you can still view your own authorizations under the section "My Authorizations," which you have for other business relationships.
Digital Processing of the W-8BEN Form
From now on, E-Banking users with individual signing authority will be automatically prompted to sign a digital W-8BEN form when they wish to purchase US securities via our Online Banking. This prompt will appear during the purchase process if no signed form has been signed for the customer relationship.
After the digital form is signed, real-time processing takes place, typically taking about one minute to complete. Upon successful processing of the form, US securities can be traded via our E-Banking. An E-Banking message will be sent, once the processing was successful.
Online mortgage extension
You can now use our Online Banking to enter amortizations for the period following the extension or the product change.
